How many deer have you taken? What weapon did you use?

I started in the 2008 season and that year I shot 1 buck with a bow, 1buck and 2 doe with my slug gun. 2009 season 1 buck with bow 1 button buck, and 3 doe with my slug gun. All together 9 deer so far.

Umm a button buck, three does, and four wall hangers. Sorry I'm not big on nanny slaying. Have to get the monkey off my back (Killing a buck) before I put does in my cross hairs. So I guess 8... Could be wrong... might've have killed more does but I think this is pretty accurate. I know I've definitely shot at more bucks than does though so that ratio is true on misses or woundings as well.

Well the buck to doe ratio is out of whack, so we have been shooting a lot of doe, they're great eating too!

Ya I don't blame ya. Gotta control the herd and weed out all the does. I agree there is no better meat than venison!

Ive killed over 30 deer in my years of hunting, around 10 of them have been bucks. Here in Ohio we have bonus tags that are for DOE ONLY that i use every year just to get some meat in the freezer !!! Most of my deer have been taken by shotgun and muzzleloader !!!
